Arcimoto opens electric vehicle rental center in Eugene

EUGENE, Oregon – Arcimoto offers fun utility vehicle rental services in Eugene.

Arcimoto Eugene Rental Center opened just a few days ago and operates seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Arcimoto Eugene is Arcimoto’s fourth largest rental location – the others being Arcimoto San Diego, Arcimoto Key West, and GoCar Tours in San Francisco.

The cost of renting one of the electric vehicles is $ 16 per hour, or $ 100 per day.

According to communications manager Jonathan Miller, there are only good reports from customers about the new rental service.

“People really appreciate it. It’s a bit like jet skiing off the road. Do you know how you’re doing in a place like Lake Tahoe and renting the jet ski for the day? It’s that kind of experience, but on the road, ”Miller said.

All you need to rent a vehicle is a valid driver’s license, $ 100 for the day, and the desire to explore the hidden gems of western Oregon.

The electric and easy-to-drive vehicles are on three wheels and can be recharged anywhere with a plug-in. Miller hopes it will make more tourists happy to come to Eugene.

“For the people who come to Eugene, we truly believe this city can become a green tech capital of the Pacific Northwest and we truly believe there is no better way to showcase your strengths than in the cockpit of an FUV, ”Miller said.

For those who are interested in one of these vehicles for a test drive, or if you have already done so and want to spend the day driving around the area, you can go to, and select the Eugene location.
