The EdisonFuture called EF1-T is huge. Not to mention that it also looks like Elon Musk’s next electric vehicle company, the Cybertruck, according to the Electek report.

The outlet further noted that although said EV concept does not directly compete with Tesla’s pickup, it could be an alternative for buyers of the latter. This is if this concept ever arrives in production.

According to the InsideEVs report, his team has already been made aware of plans for an EF1-T Cybertruck-type electric pickup since last month, or in October, to be exact.

This time around, the EV startup, which is owned by Chinese company SPI Energy, presented its concept to the public at the LA Auto Show.

The EV startup further revealed that there will be three specs for the EF1-T at the time of its release, including the Super with three engines, the Premium with a dual engine, and the Standard with a single engine.

In terms of range, the three variants of the electric pickup also operate at different battery ranges, such as 300 miles for Standard, 380 miles for Premium, and 450 miles for the premium option.

In addition to this, the EV company also touted the performance of the different variants.

To be precise, the base model featured a 0-60 performance in just 6.5 seconds. Meanwhile, the mid-range option works in 4.5 seconds, while the Super achieved it in just 3.9 seconds.

In addition, the towing capacity of the top model of the Cybertruck type pickup did not disappoint at 11,000 lbs.

EF1-V Electric Delivery Van

Moving on to EdisonFuture’s other electric vehicle offering, the EF1-V is an electric delivery van concept, which the company has touted as a “modern multipurpose van”.

The EV startup further noted that the electric van concept was not just for personal use. In fact, it could also be driven like a car for travel or work, albeit “varying road and environmental conditions”.

Nonetheless, all specifications of the electric truck, as well as its design, are always subject to change, as EdisonFuture clarified that the two electric vehicles are still just a concept.

As such, the startup noted that the appearance and production specifications of the EF1-T will always depend on consumer demand.

The fledgling automaker further revealed that it aims to bring both the choice EF1-T and the EF1-V van to the market sometime in 2025.
