Ford’s New Ford Pro Unit (F) Will Offer Premium Fleet Services – April 26, 2022

Ford engineit is (F Free Report), the new global company Ford Pro, recently rolled out its innovative digital solutions designed to increase uptime and reduce operating costs, which will usher in significant changes to the production of commercial vehicle fleets in Europe.

Ford Pro would provide customers with a complete and holistic platform by combining software, charging, service and financing for commercial vehicles. It promises to offer fully integrated digitized solutions that ensure efficient fleet management for diesel and gasoline vehicles, all-electric models or even non-Ford vehicles. Ford Pro is expected to generate $45 billion in revenue by 2025.

Connected vehicles are the heart of Ford Pro. The integrated offering ensures fleet availability using the full suite of integrated solutions available. Ford Pro Vehicles offers a range of world-class utility vehicles developed with unrivaled Ford expertise and led by the iconic Transit family, the world’s most popular utility van range.

Most Ford commercial vehicles sold in Europe meet specific customer needs. The Ford Pro Special Vehicles team examines them, offering custom conversion products and solutions to boost their productivity.

The Special Vehicles team expands its offer to customers and processors through a range of services. It works to provide a range of digital solutions to integrate third party systems into the vehicle touchscreen to ensure an enhanced user experience.

Ford Pro’s digital framework uses live data to equate vehicles, telematics, charging and maintenance and drive value for customers. Fleets can access Ford Pro Telematics software to optimize the management of their Ford-connected commercial vehicles, including real-time vehicle location, health alerts and driver monitoring to support compliance and training.

Fleets upgrading to fully electric commercial vehicles will benefit from the personalized features of Ford Pro E-Telematics, free for one year for E-Transit customers. Features include current state-of-charge details, vehicle-specific state-of-charge, and customizable low-range alert thresholds.

The feature also enables programmed preconditioning to allow the E-Transit’s battery and cabin to be warmed up or cooled down before a shift to save time and conserve battery power.

Via its Transportation Mobility Cloud, it provides information to leasing companies with existing telematics solutions.

Ford Pro Charging offers a fully integrated charging system for fleets. It will ensure specialist charging consultants work with customers for an optimal charging solution.

Ford Pro Charging also ensures simplified installation and administration of home wallboxes to support fleets where drivers bring their work vehicles home. It also provides access to over 300,000 chargers and centralized billing for simplicity and flexibility.

The Ford Pro Service Unit ensures maximum uptime by linking connected vehicle data and an unrivaled dealer network to aid in downtime mitigation efforts. Ford Pro has also brought in 1,500 EV-certified dealerships across Europe and over 4,500 authorized repairers with E-Transit service capability.

Ford Pro Service’s FORDLiive Connected Uptime System ensures fewer breakdowns, less time-consuming trips to dealerships and faster in-shop repairs.

More than 100 FORDLiive Availability Agents work from dedicated Availability Centers in Germany, Spain and the UK to proactively manage maintenance cases and respond to emerging issues.

Ford Pro is also looking at financing through its upcoming Ford Pro FinSimple – a unique, transparent and flexible financing plan for small and medium vehicle fleets that will enable commercial customers to run a successful business.

Service offerings will include commercial vehicle purchase and lease financing with combined billing, commercial lines of credit, online account management and the ability to work with a financial expert. FinSimple also covers other financing activities such as conversion of vehicles to a company’s specific needs and end-to-end financing to support fleet electrification, including Ford Pro Charging solutions.

With Ford Pro, Ford is ushering in a new generation of all-electric vehicles that promise an unprecedented experience and increased productivity for customers.

F shares rose 21.6% against the industry’s 0.2% decline.

Dorman Products’ earnings have exceeded the Zacks consensus estimate in three of the past four quarters and missed one. DORM has realized a surprise on earnings for the last four quarters of 3.1% on average. The stock has lost 4.6% over the past year.

The Zacks consensus estimate for Standard Motor’s earnings for the current year has been revised up about 1.1% in the past 60 days.

Standard Motor’s earnings have exceeded the Zacks consensus estimate for the past four quarters. SMP has realized a surprise on the profits of the last four quarters of 60.5% on average. The stock has fallen 0.7% over the past year.
